The calm before…

September 12th, 2008 by Jason

I am at Baylor and they have locked down and deployed the flood gates.

An unnamed ESIS person and I are tracking down a TV so we can play Rock Band.

The data center has been sandbagged. I wish I had my AR with me so I could setup a checkpoint.

Also, I’ve upgraded WordPress and I am now able to update my site from the iPhone plugin.

I ain’t no Tina, Ike!

September 11th, 2008 by Jason

For those of you who are worried, Terri and I are doing fine. I am on the Emergency Response Team at Baylor College of Medicine so I am unable to evacuate. I will be reporting to work tomorrow at 10:00 am and I will ride out the storm in the data center at BCM. The building is hardened and we have supplies to last us until Monday. Terri is going to stay at the house in Pasadena. She may take the bears over to her parents house and ride the storm out there. She is waiting until the last minute to make a decision.

Ike’s House of Pies

Our home now looks like a crack house and all of the crap is picked up from the yard. Don’t worry about that bench, it’s not going anywhere. It weighs more than my truck. We have food and water that will last us about a week. We can always eat the dogs if worse comes to worse, but I will eat my neighbors long before that.

I ain’t no Tina, Ike!
